Citroen set to offer new compact SUV

The Citroen range looks set to welcome an all-new compact SUV offering in the not too distant future with the French car brand about to debut this concept at the Geneva Motor Show.

Known as the C-Aircross Concept, Citroen tell us the concept has been inspired by the new Citroen C3 and heralds their global offensive in the SUV sector.

Citroen C-Aircross Concept – Key Data:

  • To debut at 2017 Geneva Motor Show
  • Designed to look robust, but not aggressive
  • Cabin features a single-spoke steering wheel and 12” touchscreen
  • Off-road capabilities boosted by inclusion of Grip Control drive modes

Linda Jackson, Citroen CEO, says the C-Aircross Concept is a sign that Citroen is coming for a slice of the SUV sales action.

“This concept shows our pursuit of an SUV product offensive.

“Based on the state-of-mind of new C3, it illustrates a different vision for the compact SUV segment, full of confidence and boldness.
