2.2 litre turbo-diesel available for a short time in Citroen C5.
Now could be a great time to jump into a new Citroen C5 with a more powerful diesel engine being offered for only a limited time.
The 150kW/450Nm 2.2 litre twin-scroll turbo-diesel engine propels the C5 to 100km/h in just 8.2 seconds and uses less fuel than the regular 2.0 litre turbo-diesel engine found in the standard C5.
Fitted in what’s being called the Citroen C5 Finale, production has been limited to just 30 cars for Australia and those vehicles are now ready to be delivered to Australian customers.
With prices starting from $59,990, the model also comes with 19” Adriatic alloy wheels, dual-chrome exhaust tips, reverse camera, a 350 Watt eight-speaker premium audio system and metallic paint.
Shaun Mackle, Citroen Australia National Sales Manager, said the C5 Finale was devised to celebrate one of the most potent diesels available in C5.
“While Citroen C5 will still feature the proven 2.0 litre diesel engines in the future these 30 Finale vehicles are set to become something of a collector’s item for Citroen and automotive enthusiasts,”
“We are certain that they will not last long.”
