More charity support from The Honda Foundation

Latest vehicle donations continue good work of initiative

Every time a new Honda car is purchased in Australia a small percentage of the funds ($15) goes straight to The Honda Foundation.

It’s such a simple, but effective, fundraising campaign that recently the $10 million-dollar milestone was passed by the initiative.

The latest assistance that the foundation has provided included the handing over of a brand-new Honda Odyssey to the Alannah & Madeline Foundation.

The Foundation also donated another Odyssey to the Sutherland Shire Carer Support Services in NSW, and a Honda Jazz to the Motor Neurone Disease Association of South Australia.

The Honda Foundation is headed up by Honda Australia boss, Stephen Collins, he says it’s great to see the vehicles going to such worthwhile organisations.

“We hope these new vehicles will help the charities continue their vital work to assist local communities.

“At Honda, we are all so honoured to be able to give back to our community and are proud of the role that the Honda Foundation can play in driving Australians to a better tomorrow.”
