A leading tourist bus operation in China has reported significant fuel savings after putting its drivers through an advanced driver training course.
GDHK transports millions of passengers annually across the border of Hong Kong and Shenzhen in southern China and boasts a 200-strong bus driver workforce.
Recently, in a bid to increase efficiency and safety, GDHK enlisted Scania to implement a new driver training program and the results speak for themselves.
Operating on some of the most congested roads in the world, the company has managed to realize fuel savings up to 20%!
The GDHK bus fleet has also been equipped with the Scania Fleet Management System, a telematics system that helps drivers work towards more efficient driving.
