Bumper problem sees Citroen C4 Cactus recalled

Handful of Citroen vehicles affected

A possible issue with the front bumper bar has sparked a recall of some Citroen C4 Cactus cars sold in Australia.

Just eight vehicles are being recalled, all were sold between the 1st of September 2016 and the 31st of October 2016.

The recall notice advises that the front bumper bar lower trim finisher may not have been properly secured.

What are the hazards?

If the front lower trim finisher is not secure, it may fall off, posing a potential hazard to other road users.

Citroen Automobiles Australia will contact all known owners by mail and advise them to present their vehicle to an authorised Citroen dealer to have the front bumper trim finisher checked and replaced if necessary.

A small number of Citroen C4 Cactus cars sold in Australia were also recalled in April to fix a possible electrical system fault.
