The BMW SUV range looks set to swell to include a possible future BMW X2.
Following the same format as the larger X3/X4 and X5/X6, the even-numbered model would boast coupe-inspired styling, rather than the more traditional SUV shape, according to the German car company.
Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, BMW Head Designer, Karim Habib, says the BMW X2, if built, would be a terrific combination of enjoyment and practicality.
“The BMW Concept X2 combines the fast-moving body language and low-slung proportions of a coupe with the robust construction of an X model.
“This is a sporty vehicle with a bold character, and it allows us to open up some fascinating new design possibilities for the BMW brand.”
At this stage BMW hasn’t released any information regarding possible powertrains and other technical details.
We will keep you updated with further info on the BMW X2 as it comes to hand.
