BMW Australia secures more 2016 M2 cars

Ask just about anyone and they get an excited little twinkle in their eye when the new BMW M2 is mentioned.

BMW Australia secures more 2016 M2 carsEverything points towards Australians snapping up the new BMW performance model in strong numbers, especially given that we are the world’s biggest M market, by population.

Now BMW Australia has moved to assure prospective BMW M2 buyers that supplies will be able to meet demand with another 100 cars being allocated to Australia by BMW headquarters this year.

Powered by the 272kW straight-six engine and priced from just under $90,000, BMW Australia boss Marc Werner says dealerships have been reporting strong interest in the new M coupe.

“Our initial 300-unit allocation of the BMW M2 for this year has already sold out.

“Securing these additional vehicles, a supply increase of up to 33%, is a huge achievement for BMW Australia and reflects strong support from the global BMW family.

“We’re delighted to be able to respond to Australian customer and market demand so quickly with these extra vehicles.”
