Dozens of Aston Martin vehicles recalled with faulty seat heater.
Aston Martin owners are facing a return trip to their dealerships to have a modification kit fitted to potentially faulty front seat heaters.
The recall, being overseen by the ACCC, involves Aston Martin models - DB9 Coupe, DB9 Volante, DBS Coupe, DBS Volante, V12 Vantage, V12 Vantage S, V8 Vantage, V8 Roadster, V8 Vantage S, V8 Roadster S, Virage Coupe and Virage Volante.
All cars were sold in Australia between the 7th of June 2006 and the 6th of November 2014 and the Aston Martin recall was launched after it was found the potential fault could see the seat heaters remain on, therefore creating a burn risk for occupants and the potential for the seats to smoulder.
Check to see if your Aston Martin is involved in the recall. Owners of affected cars will be notified by Aston Martin and asked to take their vehicle to an Aston Martin dealership where the front seats will have a seat heater modification kit installed, at no cost to the owner.
