Designed to be the sporty variant of the EV, the BMW i3s will boast:

  • Exclusive 20” alloy wheels (20mm wider than standard) available in Bicolour and Jet Black
  • 40mm wider track width (compared to standard i3)
  • Black wheel arch borders

The BMW i3s is powered by BMW’s 94 Ah/33 kWh battery pack/electric motor and a range extender engine will be offered as an option.

Meantime, BMW is also introducing some styling tweaks for 2018 across both variants – these include a new front apron, new LED indicators, and a new black finish on the A-pillars and roof line.

There’s also two new paint colours available - Melbourne Red metallic (as seen above) and Imperial Blue metallic (below).

While on the inside, BMW has added a new seat covering – Solaric Brown in the ‘Loft Package’

The new covering combines natural leather tanned using an olive leaf extract with a wool-based textile material.
