2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet pricing confirmed

Australian pricing from $123,500

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class range in Australia will soon welcome new cabriolet variants.

Landing in October, the range will include E 300 and E 400 4MATIC models, prices start from $123,500 and $157,500 respectively.

The more affordable of the two new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolets is powered by a 180kW 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The all-wheel drive E 400 boasts a 245kW six-cylinder bi-turbo engine.

Both get a nine-speed auto as standard.

While open air enjoyment is provided by a fully automatic acoustic soft top that can be fully opened and closed in 20 seconds (when travelling up to 50 km/h).

Larger in all directions than the outgoing model, Mercedes-Benz tell us the added dimensions and wider wheel tracks make for better driving dynamics and improved comfort, especially for rear seat passengers.

With seating for four, the fourth addition to the E-Class range is sure to be popular in Australia, says sales and marketing chief, Britta Seeger

“The passion for extraordinary vehicles, which we share with our customers, is reflected in our new E‑Class Cabriolet in a unique way.

“It is a car that lets people enjoy comfort and luxury in the open air.”
