Mercedes-Benz has just confirmed the Australian pricing details for the new roadsters ahead of their local arrival in October, just in time for summer!

As we covered last month, the Mercedes-AMG GT models will join the already arrived coupe versions, though the topless models, across two variants, carry price premiums.

Both roadsters are powered by a twin-turbo 4.0 litre V8 engine, the GT getting a 350kW/630Nm output, the GT C packing a hefty 410kW/680Nm.

While the existing AMG GT Coupé and AMG GT S Coupé models get a bit of extra go – the GT gaining 10kW and 30Nm, the GT S benefiting from an additional 9kW and 20Nm.

Finally, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of AMG (Aufrecht, Melcher and Großaspach), a special ‘Edition 50’ version of the newly arrived AMG GT C Coupe has been created.

Powered by the same 410kW/680Nm V8 as the AMG GT C Roadster, the AMG GT C Coupe gains an array of AMG enhancements, including: seats, steering wheel, LED high performance headlamps and AMG cross-spoke forged wheel.

The limited-edition cars are also offered in a choice of two special paint colours – graphite grey magno or cashmere white magno.
