2018 Holden Commodore pricing confirmed

Imported Commodore to start below outgoing Aussie model

$33,690, that’s the new starting price for the new fully-imported Holden Commodore.

Holden has just confirmed pricing and specification details for the new Commodore, the model beginning a new era in 2018 with the traditional Aussie-built Commodore going by the wayside.

Sourced from Opel in Europe, the Holden large car will be offered in four-cylinder turbo-petrol and turbo-diesel, and V6 guises.

The Commodore wagon (or ‘Sportswagon’) returns as well, available across three variants and priced from $35,890.

Standard features in the base-model LT car will include:

  • Nine-speed auto transmission
  • 17″ alloy wheels
  • Auto headlights
  • Push button ignition
  • Reverse camera
  • Autonomous emergency braking
  • Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
  • Powered driver’s seat

While Holden has also confirmed it will retain the long-established Calais and Calais V variants.

The LT and Calais 2.0 litre models can be optioned with the diesel engine for an additional $3,000.

  • Calais-V V6 AWD - from $51,990
  • RS 2.0-litre turbo - from $37,290
  • RS V6 AWD - from $40,790
  • RS-V V6 AWD - from $46,990
  • VXR V6 AWD - $55,990

2018 Holden Commodore Sportwagon Pricing:

  • LT 2.0-litre turbo - from $35,890
  • RS 2.0-litre turbo - from $39,490
  • RS-V V6 AWD - $49,190
