2018 brings new engines to popular Land Rover offerings

2018 Discovery Sport, Evoque get improved engines…

They are two of the greatest commercial successes that Land Rover has ever produced, now the Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque welcome improved engines.

Coming as part of a minor refresh of the SUV offerings that includes a new colour palette, the new engines all come from Land Rover’s Ingenium engine range.

They include two new petrol engines, with power outputs of 177kW/340Nm and 213kW/400Nm, and a new diesel delivering a meaty 177kW/500Nm.

The new petrol engines are Euro 6 compliant.

While all three new powerplants bring better fuel economy – up to a 15% improvement.

Land Rover telling us the new engines feature state-of-the-art technologies that deliver exceptional performance, efficiency and refinement while meeting the most stringent global emissions regulations.

Set to land in Australia in the fourth quarter of the year, the 2018 Land Rover Discovery Sport will be priced from $56,595, the 2018 Range Rover Evoque is set to kick off from $58,690.
