2018 BMW X3 to debut Monday

BMW’s all-new X3 set for reveal

BMW will take the covers off the all-new X3 SUV in the USA on Monday (early Tuesday morning our time).

The new-generation model of the big-selling BMW SUV carries a great deal of importance for BMW locally.

BMW sales in Australia through 2017 are down, one major reason is the nearly 16% drop in local X3 sales as buyers look elsewhere for fresher models.

Traditionally, the X3 has been BMW’s best-selling model here.

Fresh from months of rigorous testing (outlined here), BMW have been cautious about getting too much info out about the new model up to this point.

What we believe though is that the model will be built on the same platform as the current BMW 7 Series.

You can also expect the new 2018 BMW X3 to be larger and deliver more interior space and a larger cargo area than the outgoing version.

While a plug-in hybrid version is almost a certainty.
