Toyota will give the Corolla sedan a significant upgrade at the end of the year with the new 2017 model set to land early in the new year.
Toyota Australia sent us some details this afternoon on what the 2017 Toyota Corolla sedan will look like and some details on what they have planned, including a fairly major driver assist upgrade.
Those styling changes for Corolla include new grille, bumpers and LED headlights and taillights.
Toyota also planning on giving the ZR grade Toyota Corolla a new chrome trim finish, which say they tell us enhances the character line running from the front to the rear of the vehicle.
While Toyota is also promising additional safety tech, including a Pre-Collision System and Lane Departure Alert.
Tony Cramb, Toyota executive director of sales and marketing, saying it’s all about giving Australia’s best-selling car the look and features to keep it at the top.
“Close to a quarter of all Corollas sold in Australia last year were sedans, and the advanced design and new technology offered in this upgrade is further proof of Toyota’s commitment to ‘Kaizen’, the process of continuous improvement.”
We will keep you updated on the 2017 Toyota Corolla sedan through the year.
