2017 Ford Mondeo gets SYNC 3 standard

SYNC 3 added to Mondeo at no additional cost

Sales of the Ford Mondeo are increasing at a rapid rate and now Ford has upped the tech in the mid-size offering.

The 2017 model of the Ford Mondeo hatch and wagon will boast the latest Ford SYNC3 technology.

Added to the Mondeo without a price increase, SYNC 3 is faster and more intuitive than the first two generations of the infotainment system.

It boasts voice-activated control, Emergency Call Assist as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

With sales of the Mondeo in Australia jumping ahead 122.5% in the first six months of the year, Ford Australia boss Graeme Whickman says the Mondeo is going from strength to strength.

“Mondeo has always led the way in terms of its technology and fuel efficiency, being the very first Ford available in Australia powered by EcoBoost engine technology.

“The addition of SYNC 3 makes this outstanding vehicle an even more attractive choice.”

The Ford Mondeo range is priced from $33,190.
