Maserati Ghibli gets new engines and features for 2016.
Maserati Australia has announced that the Maserati Ghibli is set for a 2016 refresh, the biggest change being updated engines.
Maintaining the Ghibli’s three V6 engine line-up, the new range of engines for 2016 now meet Euro 6 emission standards and Maserati tell us that fuel consumption has also been cut by up to 12%. One of those fuel saving measures is an engine stop/start system for V6 petrol variants.
Other changes being introduced to the Maserati Ghibli for 2016 include the standard fitment of Blind Spot Monitoring, a power operated boot also features, as well as a new optional Harmon Kardon premium sound system.
New alloy wheel designs and new interior personalization options also come online for the New Year.
Priced from $139,900, Maserati Australia boss, Glen Sealey, says the 2016 Maserati Ghibli is now even better.
“Despite the transformation the Ghibli has brought to Maserati in terms of sales, the Trident marque is not resting on its laurels,”
“These changes for 2016 bring to the Ghibli new levels of emissions and fuel consumption allied to a range of comfort, safety, exclusivity features that will enable it to continue to build on its sales in the New Year.”
