2016 Honda Civic Scores Another Car Award

All-new Honda Civic takes second Car of the Year award this week.

2016 Honda Civic Scores Another Car Award - the 2016 Civic arrives next year with plenty of overseas accolades.

The all-new 2016 Honda Civic will land in Australian Honda dealerships mid next year with high expectations after taking two car Car of the Year titles in the past week.

After being named the 2016 AutoGuide.com Car of the Year on Wednesday, the new Honda Civic has just been named the Best Compact Sedan in the Hispanic Motor Press Awards in the U.S.

The awards honour the best all-new or heavily refreshed vehicles for Hispanic families in 2016 and Ricardo Rodriguez-Long, Jury Director, Hispanic Motor Press says the new Civic is a big improvement over the superseded model.

“The 2016 Honda Civic is a bit longer, with a roomier interior and a high level of connectivity, with a smooth power plant.”

Honda America boss, Jeff Conrad, said winning the award meant a great deal to Honda.

“The all-new Civic was designed to define the compact car segment with striking styling, industry-leading safety ratings and advanced technology unmatched by competitors,”

“Receiving this award from the Hispanic Motor Press for Civic validates the efforts of the many Honda associates throughout North America who developed and built this great new vehicle.”

We will keep you updated on Australian availability, pricing and specification info on the new 10th-generation Honda Civic when confirmed by Honda Cars Australia.
