2016 Citroen Cactus Gets Green Tick of Approval

The new Citroen Cactus has been dubbed the most efficient non-hybrid or electric five-seat car available.

Arriving in Citroen dealerships across Australia this month, the new Citroen C4 Cactus will boast a tick of approval from the Federal Government’s Green Vehicle Guide (GVG) after being found to emit less than 100 grams of CO2 per kilometre.

Featuring a lightweight body and components, as well as the latest engine and turbocharger technology, the 1.6 litre turbo-diesel-powered Cactus will use as little as just 3.7 litres/100km.

Dimitri Andreatidis is the National Marketing Manager for Citroen Australia, he’s told Behind the Wheel Car News that the multi-award winning Cactus is a special vehicle.

“The Citroen C4 Cactus is a vehicle that ushers in a range of advanced design and engineering solutions, combining to deliver one of the most efficient and striking vehicles available today,”

“From the outset the Citroen Cactus has been designed to reduce weight and wastage, while increasing efficiency and the latest Green Vehicle Guide figures reinforce that focus.”
