Chrysler 300 SRT recalled over possibly dangerous electrical fault.
A recall of current series Chrysler 300 SRT and SRT8 models has begun after an issue with the Daytime Running Lights was identified.
Affecting 2015 and 2016 models of the LX series Chrysler 300, the Chrysler 300 Daytime Running Lights recall is being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
The ACCC recall notice advising that the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) may turn off when the turn signals are activated, resulting in non-compliance to certain homologation requirements.
DRLs that do not function as intended make the vehicle less conspicuous in traffic and may increase the potential for a motor vehicle accident.
FCA (Fiat Chrysler Australia) will notify vehicle owners who can take their vehicle to a Chrysler dealership whereby the vehicle will be repaired by reprogramming the control module.
