Audi dealerships around Australia now have a new entry-level version of the popular Audi Q7 SUV to show you.
The new 2016 Audi Q7 3.0 TDI 160kW is priced from $96,300, or about $7,000 less than the previous starting point in the Q7 range – the 200kW 3.0 litre diesel.
Still featuring quattro all-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto transmission, the lower-output version of the Q7 offers a healthy 500Nm, 100Nm less than the more expensive offering.
While fuel consumption is slightly better in the more affordable new version, Audi is quoting 5.8L/100km, as opposed to 5.9L/100km. However, 0-100km/h time jumps up from 6.5 seconds to 7.3 seconds.
Standard features in the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI 160kW includes leather seats and 19” alloy wheels that differ slightly from the upper-spec model. While, as you would expect, Audi is offering a host of enhancement and customisation options as well on the new one.
Audi Australia boss, Andrew Doyle, says the new variant is expected to be very popular among Q7 buyers.
“The all-new second-generation Q7 furthers Audi’s reputation for cutting-edge engineering, exceptional quality and sophisticated technology, and now with the arrival of a new entry point to the range, it is even more attainable.
“We are very confident that this new Q7 model will drive further growth in this important segment for Audi.”
