Aprilia confirms 2016 Aprilia RSV4 RF Australian pricing.
At $32,000 the 2016 Aprilia RSV4 RF is certainly not a cheap motorcycle, but then it’s not your average sports bike either.
The 2016 model has the most significant changes ever made to the RSV4, and since its release last year it has been getting sensational reviews around the world.
Much of the technology and safety features on the bike have been developed on the track in Aprilia’s World Superbike and MotoGP race programs.
The 1000cc V-Four engine just breaks the magical 200hp mark, producing 201hp or 150kW.
The bike has been lightened to a dry weight of just 180kg making this the lightest and most powerful RSV4 ever produced.
To deal with the updates to the engine and increase in power, the chassis has changed to lower the centre of gravity and the swingers has been lengthened.
The 2016 Aprilia RSV4 RF also has a new Ohlins suspension and forged aluminium wheels.
The standout Superpole graphics on the bike set it apart from previous models.
Aprilia has also added an updated version of its Multimedia Platform, which allows a smartphone to communicate with the RSV4.
Changes to the settings for wheelie control and traction control can be made directly from the smartphone app.
The bike will be available from April and stocks will be limited. Aprilia dealers are already taking orders.
