New all-wheel drive Skoda Octavia lands from $32,990...

The 2015 Skoda Octavia Scout 4×4 is now available to test drive in Skoda dealerships.

Offered in three grades – 110TDI, 132TSI and 135TDI, starting prices range between $32,990 and $41,390. An optional Premium Pack is available on the entry-level model and adds sat-nav, leather interior and other features at a $4,400 price premium.

The upper-spec models can be optioned with a Tech Pack; this offers features such as park assist, adaptive cruise control and Bi-xenon headlights. The pack is priced from $3,300 (135TDI) and $3,900 (132TSI).

While, under the bonnet, the Skoda Octavia Scout 110TDI features a 110kW/340Nm turbo-diesel engine that uses a claimed combined 5.3L/100kms. The entry-level model is offered only with a six-speed manual transmission.

The 132TSI comes with a 132kW/280Nm turbo-petrol power plant that uses a combined a 7.1L/100km. Finally, the 135TDI is offered with a 135kW/380Nm turbo-diesel engine that will use a combined 5.3L/100km.

Both upper-spec models are only offered with a six-speed DSG auto transmission.

Featuring a new generation Haldex 5 all-wheel drive system, the Octavia Scout offers 31mm more ground clearance than the standard Octavia, as well as beefed-up underfloor protection and bumpers.
