New M versions of BMW X5 and X6 to land from $185,900.
BMW Australia has this afternoon confirmed pricing and some further specification info for the soon to arrive new X5 M and X6 M.
In dealerships before the middle of the year, the BMW X5 M will kick-off from $185,900 and the larger X6 M will be priced from $194,700.
For that, both models feature the same 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces a healthy 423kW and 750 Nm and a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.2 seconds! While power and torque are up over the engine in the superseded model, fuel consumption in the new models drops 20%.
All-wheel drive, an eight-speed auto transmission, launch control, 21” alloys and a fine-grain Merino leather cabin completes the package.
BMW Group Australia Head of Product and Market Planning Shawn Ticehurst says the new X5 M and X6 M are the ultimate all-rounders.
“They deliver an incredibly unique driving experience, offering fleet-footed balance and sheer power in equal measure, while their everyday versatility is demonstrated through an impressive array of standard specification and safety features, a stunning interior, and full suite of driver assistance innovations.”
