Citroen C4 Picasso cars still needing recall attention

A follow up notice regarding a 2015 recall of the Citroen C4 Picasso has been issued by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

Originally involving 275 vehicles (details here), 66 Citroen C4 Picasso vehicles still require attention, according to the latest recall notice.

All of those vehicles were sold in Australia between the 1st of November 2014 and the 31st of January 2015.

The recall involves the possibility that the front suspension wishbone bolts may not be to the correct specification.

The ACCC warning that the bolts may break if they are not to the correct specification.

This may cause the wheels to tilt and reduce steering control, posing a potential hazard to the driver and other road users.

Affected Citroen C4 Picasso owners will be contacted by direct mail and asked to contact their local Citroen dealership to arrange an inspection and repair of the vehicle.
