Everything is coming up roses for Iveco at the moment with the truck and commercial vehicle manufacturer enjoying solid sales increases in Australia and New Zealand in 2016.
The 6% increase in the local market last year represented the brands best performance in Australia since 2013.
But across the ditch Iveco New Zealand is doing even better! The NZ operation recorded a mammoth 45% increase in vehicle deliveries last year.
Benefiting from a growing range of vehicles from car-licence van and cab chassis to road train-capable prime movers, Iveco Marketing Manager, Darren Swenson, says customers are responding positively.
“The last two to three years has seen considerable change at Iveco,”
“A new management structure has been implemented, our manufacturing facility has been restructured and there has been considerable time and effort devoted to better meeting the needs of our customers,”
“Wholesale changes obviously take time to effect, so it’s exciting to already be seeing some early benefits as an organisation as well as for our customers.”
And Darren says the ever-growing Iveco dealer network is also helping to meet the needs of more customers.
“The Dealer Network has grown markedly over the past 12 months and now encompasses over 60 outlets comprising of full line, light duty and parts and service outlets,”
“This number will expand in 2017 with additional strategic appointments and the further evolution of existing outlets.”
