Jaguar takes XF in bold new direction
Just revealed in the past half an hour in the UK, the vehicle will be known as the Jaguar XF Sportsbrake and we can expect to see it in Australia later in the year.
First teased as an outline on Wimbledon’s Centre Court last month, British tennis champ, Andy Murray, was the man tasked with taking the covers off the new addition to the Jaguar family.
Jaguar Director of Design, Ian Callum, says the wagon delivers equally impressive performance, design and technology, with greater practicality and space.
“The iconic Jaguar posters of the 1950s promised customers grace, pace and space.
“The XF Sportbrake re-imagines this offer for 21st-century active families, with stunning looks, sports car performance and a load space fit for active lifestyles.”
2018 Jaguar XF Sportbrake Key Data:
- Engines will include 4-cylinder and V6 petrol and diesel
- All-wheel drive variants available
- Two-tonne towing capacity
- 565-litre boot space
We will bring you more details as they come to hand in our Jaguar XF News section.
