2018 Jaguar XF Sportbrake just revealed

Jaguar takes XF in bold new direction

Wagon versions of luxury cars can be quite a profitable exercise for car manufacturers, just ask BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

Now Jaguar is getting in on the action with a wagon-version of the Jaguar XF.

Just revealed in the past half an hour in the UK, the vehicle will be known as the Jaguar XF Sportsbrake and we can expect to see it in Australia later in the year.

First teased as an outline on Wimbledon’s Centre Court last month, British tennis champ, Andy Murray, was the man tasked with taking the covers off the new addition to the Jaguar family.

“The iconic Jaguar posters of the 1950s promised customers grace, pace and space.

“The XF Sportbrake re-imagines this offer for 21st-century active families, with stunning looks, sports car performance and a load space fit for active lifestyles.”

2018 Jaguar XF Sportbrake Key Data:

  • Engines will include 4-cylinder and V6 petrol and diesel
  • All-wheel drive variants available
  • Two-tonne towing capacity
  • 565-litre boot space
