2017 Toyota Corolla hatch welcomes safety pack

Toyota has just announced it has brought the top-spec Corolla hatch in-line with its sedan sibling with the addition of a safety systems pack as standard.

As announced earlier this week (details here), the Toyota Corolla ZR sedan now comes standard with the package – including:

  • Pre-collision system with forward collision warning and autonomous emergency braking
  • Lane departure alert
  • Automatic high beam

The hatch version of the Corolla ZR now also boasts the systems as standard.

While as per the sedan, buyers of the lower-spec Corolla hatch variants (Ascent, Ascent Sport and SX) and the hybrid can also add the pack for an additional $750.

The 2017 Toyota Corolla hatch range starts from $20,190 and the top-spec ZR kicks-off from $30,020.
