2017 Nissan Pathfinder launched in USA

Nissan have unveiled their 2017 Pathfinder at a ceremony in Dallas, Texas revealing a new look, a new engine and advanced driver assistance and safety features.

The updated Pathfinder boasts a new 3.5 litre V6 engine increasing the power and torque to 212kW and 351Nm in addition to the towing capacity bumped up to the 2720kg.

The exterior has also received a facelift including a new grille, front bumper, fog lights, taillights, mirrors and aluminium –alloy wheels with refreshed design.

A new motion activated powered tailgate is another new convenience, operated by a foot sensor in the Pathfinder SL and Platinum models.

Vehicle protection has also being improved with additions of emergency braking, moving object detection, intelligent cruise control as well as blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert.

Interior screens on the centre console and instrument display provide the driver more driver assistance and infotainment information plus voice recognition navigation.

Chairman of Nissan Motors North America José Muñoz is positive about what the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder brings to the table.
