Honda dealerships help raise $10 million for charity…
The Honda Foundation, an initiative of Honda cars and its Australian dealerships, have now raised $10 million.
The foundation is funded by $10 donations made by Honda on each Honda car sold in Australia, while the Honda dealerships chip in $5 per sale.
Now, after 25 years the total amount raised by The Honda Foundation has just passed the $10 million-dollar milestone.
To mark the milestone, The Honda Foundation presented the Alannah & Madeline Foundation with a $5,000 donation towards its Buddy Bags initiative.
Chairman of The Honda Foundation, Stephen Collins, says he’s proud of the good work that the foundation has been able to do.
“This is our way of showing thanks and respect to those communities by putting our money where our mouth is.
“We are extremely proud that we have supported 700 charities nationwide to help drive people’s dreams to a brighter tomorrow.”
